​Anna Loro

Harp​

 

Anna Loro was born in Desenzano Del Garda and studied at Conservatory in Verona with Mirella Vita. Thereafter she made her advanced specialisation with Pierre Jamet at Gargilesse International Academy. She won many different National and International Competitions and made her debut at Sala Verdi in Milan performing Debussy’s Dances with Carme Ensemble directed by J.P. Rampal.​

 

She performed as soloist and in chamber music ensembles, in prestigious festivals like Salzburg Festival, Societá del Quartetto di Milano, Festival in Gargilesse, Musikverein in Vienna, Purcell Room in London.​

 

Alongside her soloist career, Anna performed regularly with numerous Orchestras around the world: Arena in Verona, Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, Hessischer Rundfunk in Frankfurt, Orchestra of the S. Carlos Theatre in Lisbon, Rai Symphonic Orchestra in Turin, Orchestra in Teatro Regio in Parma, Bayerischer Rundfunk and she played under eminent conductor as Claudio Abbado, Lorin Maazel, Raphael Frubeck di Burgos, George Pretre, Myun-Whun Chung, Luciano Berio, Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli, Salvatore Accardo, Alain Lombard, Neville Marriner, M. Joansons.​

 

Anna held masterclasses in Italy and abroad in Guildhall School and Trinity College in London, Royal College in Manchester, Conservatory in Strasbourg, Accademy Prince Ranieri III in Monaco, Conservatory of Music in Lugano.

 

Anna is the harp professor at Conservatory “Luca Marenzio” in Brescia, Italy.
