As a full time music student 19 years ago, I dreamed of a life as an orchestral musician playing concerts and touring around the world. My first opportunity of working with world class conductors came when I was accepted into AYO for the first time. It was truly an eye-opening experience for me, and undoubtedly, for many others. So much was learnt musically; friends made and life-long friendships sustained. Cultural exchanges happened in the most natural way. I cannot thank Mr. Pontzious enough for all he has done for AYO. It truly bridges the gap between the world of professionals and aspiring amateurs!
